The Revival Center is a new church planting in Marlin, Texas — built for people who are looking for something real, not something rehearsed. We're here for the seekers, the skeptics, the seasoned, and everyone in between.

What We Believe

Three things, simply.

We Believe Jesus Is The Son Of God.

John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Matthew 16:15–17 (NKJV) He said to them, 'But who do you say that I am?' Simon Peter answered and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' Jesus answered and said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.'

We Believe Jesus Died For Our Sins and Was Resurrected From The Grave

We believe that Jesus Christ willingly died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, all who repent and place their faith in Him receive forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and the gift of eternal life. Romans 5:8 (NKJV) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. Through His death and resurrection, He alone provides forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and the gift of eternal life. There is no other Savior, no other mediator, and no other name by which humanity can be saved from the penalty of sin. John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'

George Stricklin, affectionately known as Minister Slugger, is a servant of God with a heart for leading others to spiritual freedom and purpose. With a testimony rooted in redemption, Slugger’s life exemplifies the transformative power of grace. He passionately shares the Word of God, inspiring individuals to walk boldly in their faith and trust God’s plan for their lives. His ministry is built on speaking life into those who feel defeated, offering hope to the hopeless, and reminding people of their God-given potential. Minister Slugger’s mission is clear: to guide others to spiritual alignment, equipping them to thrive in every area of their lives for the glory of God.

Mrs. Linnette Stricklin

Co-Founder

Alongside Minister Slugger, she carries the heart of The Revival Center — building community, empowering women, and making sure everyone who walks through the doors knows they belong. Her ministry to women and families is the quiet engine of the church.
