AMEN

Minister Slugger·
We say "Amen" not because it's the closing of a prayer, but because amen means, "truly," "certainly," or "so be it." It's our declaration of agreement with what GOD has said. So, don't just end your prayer with "Amen," thinking it's the conclusion to your prayer. Instead, say "Amen" because you believe it shall be as GOD said it will be and that He will answer your prayer. Don't say "Amen" to the problem. Say "Amen" to the promise. When fear speaks, say "Amen" to GOD'S peace. When lack shows up, say "Amen" to GOD'S promise: "My GOD shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." When sickness tries to write the final chapter, don't say "Amen" to the diagnosis. Say "Amen" to what GOD has spoken. This is not the end of your story. GOD'S Word has the final say. Too often we spend our energy worrying, stressing, and trying to figure everything out, when faith simply stands on GOD'S Word and says, "Amen." GOD declared that His Word will not return to Him void, but it will accomplish what He sent it to accomplish. [Isaiah 55:11] If He spoke it, He will perform it. If He promised it, He will fulfill it. GOD is not a man that He should lie. So whatever you're facing today, don't agree with the problem. Agree with the promise. Amen. BECAUSE IT IS SO. - Pastor Slugger
